North Hanley Metro Station

Improvements to one of the busiest Metro Stations in St. Louis included a new parking structure, bus drop off lanes, ticketing facilities and new plazas with seating options. New concrete seat walls and canopy trees to provide comfortable short-term seating. Paving patterns and use of color concrete aid in directing pedestrians from the garage to the bus and metro platforms. Native boulders provide unconventional seating opportunities. Improved landscape and irrigation emphasize low maintenance through the use of perennials and shrubs over lawns.
